| Energy Consulting Services, ECS, en 1995 comenzó sus operaciones con el objetivo de brindar un servicio innovador que respondiera rápida y eficazmente a las necesidades y expectativas de los usuarios del recientemente desregulado mercado energético local. La experiencia y solidez de su equipo de profesionales permitió además el desarrollo de actividades de consultoría, dirigidas al análisis, evaluación, diagnóstico y asesoramiento de los distintos aspectos que conforman el escenario energético, tanto a nivel local como regional. El éxito alcanzado en la persecución de ambas metas se ve reflejado en la actual estructura de la Compañía: sus dos negocios funcionales básicos -Comercialización de Energía (Gas Natural, Energía Eléctrica y Combustibles Líquidos) y Consultoría Energética especializada, con enfoque Regional, son los pilares sobre los cuales ECS continúa brindando soluciones energéticas integrales anticipando y resolviendo las inquietudes de sus clientes. Comercialización de Energía En lo que respecta a la Comercialización de Energía, ECS entre 1996 y 2006 lleva gestionados localmente alrededor de 12.000 millones de m3 de Gas Natural. Este volumen equivale al consumo de 3,5 años de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. En vistas a lo expuesto anteriormente, ECS resulta uno de los mayores y más confiables Comercializadores de Gas Natural en la Argentina, aportando de esta manera al crecimiento del producto nacional con la máxima idoneidad, prestando un servicio de alta calidad. Asimismo, ECS se ha involucrado en lograr un sistema de comercialización sencillo y confiable para la provisión directa de gas natural a pequeños consumidores. En efecto, los cambios que se han dispuesto entre el 2005 y 2007, en la regulación argentina con respecto al mercado de Gas Natural, dan lugar a que dichos consumidores accedan a la compra directa del gas natural para sus procesos. Energy Consuting Services ha incursionado en gestionamiento y administración de la operación de las estaciones de servicio que operan con Gas Natural Comprimido (GNC), brindando así un servicio a las empresas productoras que han resultado abastecedoras de las distintas bocas de expendio, a través de la operatoria de subasta llevada adelante por el Mercado Electrónico de Gas (MEGSA). De esta manera, ECS ratifica su liderazgo y su compromiso con la Industria Nacional en el aprovisionamiento confiable de Gas Natural y Combustibles Líquidos. Consultoría Energética Desde el inicio del proceso de integración regional, ECS estuvo involucrado como un activo participante del incipiente mercado energético del Cono Sur. El área de Consultoría ofrece una permanente visión de la coyuntura y de los posibles escenarios en el mercado energético regional. Esto permite brindar a nuestros clientes los elementos necesarios para una correcta toma de decisiones, minimizando los riesgos, en un mercado de alta volatilidad y realidad cambiante. Es así como se convirtió en un asesor estratégico de grandes grupos económicos nacionales e internacionales, desarrollando sistemas tarifarios y modelos de gestión operativos y comerciales de nivel internacional. Prueba de ello son los servicios brindados a los interesados en participar de los intercambios internacionales energéticos. Así, ECS fue una de las primeras en desarrollar y negociar contratos de largo plazo de gas natural y transporte para proyectos transnacionales en la región. Asimismo ha participado en el desarrollo de transacciones de segunda generación sobre los corredores eléctricos internacionales entre Argentina y Brasil, concretadas en 2004. |

Energy trading With respect to Energy trading, between 1996 y 2006 ECS has locally managed about 12.000 million m3 of Natural Gas. This volume equals a 3.5-year consumption in the City of Bs. As. In view of the foregoing, ECS is one of the largest and most relia-ble Natural gas traders in Argentina. Thus promoting the growth of the domestic product in an efficient way and therefore achieving the highest efficiency records and providing high quality service. The permanent evolution and flexibility of the commercial and contractual schemes, clear indicators of a company focused on total customer satisfaction, have allowed ECS to offer a simple, efficient and highly competitive service to supply the largest industries in Argentina. Likewise, ECS has developed a simple and reliable trading system for the direct supply of natural gas to small consumers. Between 2005 and 2007, changes in Argentine regulation impac-ting on the Natural Gas Market, enable such consumers to have direct access to the purchase of natural gas for their processes. ECS has managed and administered the operation of the Service stations that operate with Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), thus offering a service to the producing companies that have been supplying the different outlets, by means of auction’s operations executed by the Gas Electronic Market (MEGSA). This way, ECS ratifies its leadership and commitment with the National Industry as to the reliable supply of Natural gas and Liquid fuels. Energy Consulting From the beginning of the regional integration process, ECS has actively participated in the incipient energy market of the Southern Cone. The Consulting area offers a permanent vision of the current reality and possible scenarios within the regional energy market. This allows us to offer our clients the necessary elements for correct decision-making, thus reducing risks to a minimum in a high volatility market and in view of the changing reality. This is how it has become a strategic advisor of large national and international groups, developing international tariff systems and operative and commercial management models. The services rendered to those interested in participating in the energy international interchanges evidence the foregoing. That way, ECS was one of the first companies to develop and negotiate long-term natural gas and transport contracts for transnational projects in the region. Likewise, it has participated in the development of second-generation transactions on the international electric corridors between Argentina and Brasil, executed in 2004. |
